About the event
The course is designed as an addition to the BMET course, to give delegates an understanding of how electricity works.
The course takes you back to the basic movement of electrons and how we move them, including the relationships between voltage, current, resistance and power.
The course also covers batteries, their charging and discharging properties and ratios, including the relationship of the batteries to the motors.
A large proportion of the course is dedicated to the health and safety of working with electricity, including the Do's and Don'ts of working with higher voltages and the safe isolation of the equipment and the wiring.
All in all, the course will definitely enhance your knowledge and ability, which in turn will help enable you to work safely in the 'Marine Electric Propulsion' environment.
