Marine Engineering and Electro Technical Officers
BMTA offer a range of support and services to support your journey to achieving your Certificate of Competency in your chosen discipline as a Marine Engineering Officer or an Electro-technical officer.
With personal experiences within the team of both completing the cadet program and teaching on the program, BMTA are able to offer honest, reliable and affordable training to help support you in achieving your goals and ambitions, while fully understanding the stresses and demands of the training program.

Support available
Below is an overview of the support and training that is available to engineering and ETO cadets. However our services are not limited to the below, so if you require any other support or guidance please feel free to drop us an email and we will do our best to help. All sessions are conducted online and we will, wherever possible, work to times and dates that suit you.
MCA Oral Preparation
One to One or Group Oral prep with your requirements at the centre of these sessions. All session will be designed around the MCA syllabus (MIN 654) and are fluid in recognising where you require further training or improved application. We will give you advise and guidance on your developmental needs and always offer full honesty and transparency in our advice.
IAMI Preparation
International Association Of Maritime Institutions (IAMI) Engineering Knowledge Examination can be a daunting prospect. An Exam that covers a wide syllabus and brings you another step closer to achieving your Certificate of Competence. The BMTA team can help support you will achieving your goals of passing the examination through online teaching sessions, marking of practice paper and guidance on how to interpret and answer the paper effectively.
TRB Guidance
Need support on how to complete your TRB and create an effective workbook? Speak to a member of our team who will be able to guide, review and give feedback on your training record book progress and development
Tuition
The BMTA team can support you with tuition on your academic studies. This includes Marine Engineering, Electrical, Mathematics and Mechanic's. We are happy to accommodate one to one sessions or group sessions.
